USCCB Webinar on Migration
his year, National Migration Week takes place September 21 – 27 and culminates with the World Day of Migrants and Refugees (WDMR) on the last Sunday of the month. The primary theme for this year’s WDMR is “Even just one of these children,” which is a reference to Matthew 18:5: “Whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.”
The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Secretariat of Migration is happy to invite you to a webinar that will highlight some of the key implications of this theme as it pertains to child migration and will include experts who can shed light on the international and domestic dynamics related to this issue.
Panelists:
Jenny Cachaya, The Catholic Legal Immigration Network
Haydee Diaz, Catholic Relief Services Honduras
Ashley Feasley, The Catholic University of America
